Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of getcast.now (the "Service"), operated by Slick Enterprises LLP ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, submitting a casting application, publishing a casting page, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

getcast.now is an online platform that helps filmmakers publish casting pages, collect structured submissions, and review applicants, and helps talent discover casting opportunities and apply with profile materials. We may offer features on an invite-only or early-access basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

We are a technology platform. We do not employ talent, represent actors, guarantee casting outcomes, or verify every casting call published on the Service. Filmmakers and talent are responsible for their own dealings.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Account types may include talent (actors) and filmmakers (directors/production). Filmmaker access may require an invite or approval during early access. We may refuse or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to other users.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post fake, misleading, or fraudulent casting calls or applications
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Request or pay illegal fees disguised as casting charges (e.g. pay-to-audition scams)
• Upload content you do not have rights to use, or that infringes others' rights
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service without permission
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose under applicable law, including laws of India

5. User content and submissions

You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, photos, videos, resumes, messages, and application materials). You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service.

When you apply to a casting call, you understand that filmmakers and their authorised reviewers may see the information you submit, subject to your privacy choices and any consent you provide for sensitive fields (such as phone or email). You are responsible for what you share and with whom you choose to engage off-platform.

6. Filmmaker responsibilities

If you publish casting pages or review submissions, you represent that you have authority to run that casting process, that your listings are truthful to the best of your knowledge, and that you will handle applicant data lawfully and only for legitimate casting purposes. You must comply with our Privacy Policy when processing personal data received through the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Slick Enterprises LLP or its licensors. You may not copy or use our trademarks except as allowed by these Terms or with written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or the accuracy of any user-generated casting listing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Slick Enterprises LLP and its partners, officers, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other users.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) INR 5,000, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slick Enterprises LLP from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe termination is necessary to protect users or the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
